I have spent a lot of time downtown. I am old enough, or maybe just raised in a different environment where an active
downtown was the norm. I did not travel that much back than though, so maybe it was just my norm. The short of that statement
though is to explain why you will most likely see more of the downtown than of some other places. I am only here for
4 months and I will try to have some other pictures to show you as well. I digress though. I love the excitement of
an active downtown. This is the second town I have been too that had an indoor mall, and this was the biggest, best
laid out, in my opinion. It could have something to do with the seat of Government, since Sacramento was the other
city I have seen with an indoor mall right in the center of town itself. Salem is much smaller than Sacrament though, and
the mall seemed larger as I remember it. The mall went across two streets that I saw. (there may have been more) <--You can find out more about this beautiful part of the States by visiting some of the links on the left column. | br>
